Heather will take a well-deserved break from the ovens from June 14-26. Sorry but no bread will available then.

The other really big news is that the All Local Farmers Market, usually held on alternate Saturdays between the Rosewood Market and Gervais and Vine, will now occur at a single location, every Saturday, all year 'round!! Starting Saturday July 4, the All Local Farmers Market will be at 701 Whaley Street (map). This is the old Pacific Mill community center, an historic, charming building recently refurbished for community events, gatherings, and the arts. We look forward to seeing you in the historic Olympia Neighborhood!!

This summer you can find Heather's delicious and healthy breads at a variety of local farmers markets, as well as our bakery at 1524 Lafayette Ave in West Columbia. In particular we are adding two new farmers markets to our venue. One is the Blythewood market held every third Saturday of the month. The other is the Riverbanks Zoo-Botanical Gardens Farmers Market held every Wednesday. Also, the Sandhills Village Farmers Market is now open for the season every Tuesday. As usual you can find Heather's bread at the Rosewood Market. There she offers a selection of rustic and sourdough styles.

For those of you unfamiliar with Heather's bread..... The sourdoughs are made with unbleached and unbromated flour, sea salt, spring water, natural levain and a special ingredient - time; some of our breads take up to 48 hours from start to finish. The combination of high quality ingredients, lots of care, and time give our breads a chewy texture, fragrant aroma, complex flavor, good shelf life, and easily absorbed food value. The whole grain breads are made with fresh wheat or rye flour from berries that are stone-ground at the bakery and used that day. The yeast breads have fresh eggs, butter, herbs, dried fruit, nuts, and 100% pure extra virgin olive oil. Each loaf is hand-formed, made with quality ingredients, and with the care that has become Heather's trademark. Columbia All Local Farmers Market - Held twice monthly between two locations. On the 2^nd Sat. of each month at “Gervais and Vine” at Huger St. and Gervais St. in the Vista (map), and 4^th Sat. at the Rosewood Market at Rosewood Dr. and Maple St.(map).

Blythewood Farmers Market - Held on the third Saturday of each month. The market is in front of the Town Hall, at 171 Langford Road, Blythewood, just off 77 (map).

Sandhills Farmers Market - Held every Tuesday at the Clemson Research Station, 900 Clemson Road, in the Northeast , across from the Sandhills Village (map).

Riverbanks Zoo Botanical Gardens Farmers Market - This market will held every Wednesday at the Zoo Botanical Garden, 1300 Botanical Parkway in West Columbia. This location is just off 378 near its junction with interstate 20 (map).
